[PRE-ORDER] Herbert Karajan Von - Dvorak Symphonies 8 & 9 Smetana Moldau [CD]

Fifth release in Warner Classics' series of Herbert von Karajan Hybrid SACDs with a new HD 192/24 remastering from the original tapes. Karajan's account of these two Dvorak symphonies recorded in the late 70s stands as an unashamed celebration of orchestral opulence and expressive warmth. Moving away from traditional rustic readings, Karajan unleashes the Berlin Philharmonic with a breathtaking, cinematic sweep. It is a definitive document of the "Karajan Sound" at it's most hedonistic and luxurious.
